The walls and ceiling in this bathroom were also scraped, re-taped, floated, lightly textured and painted.

This project was full bathroom remodel with a contemporary industrial design. The random lay 4”x16” subway tile with industrial oil-rubbed bronze finishes, “concrete finish” floor tile and rustic vanity really set off this guest bathroom. The linear niche insert with schluter edging modernizes the industrial look and adds a bold, sharp appearance to the overall design. Replacing bullnose tile edging with clean Schluter L-channel edging is just another way our work stands out.

INDUSTRIAL BATH

While tub to shower conversions are very popular, for this client, the functionality of an upstairs tub was too useful. Our best option was to re-finish the existing tub with an epoxy coating from our trusted partner Rubber Duck Refinishing. Linear niches are a great addition to any bathroom remodel. And always, sanded silicon is applied in the niche and where the tile meets the tub to ensure a long lasting seal and durability.
